The US actions are unlikely to prevent Iran from purchasing weapons from foreign states, including China and Russia, after the expiration of the arms embargo. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

“After the embargo is lifted, we will be able to meet our needs through the mediation of countries with which we have established strategic relations, including Russia and China”, – he said.
According to the diplomat, “secondary US sanctions are unlikely to become an obstacle to this”.
The politician added that “Iran can even export its weapons”.
