Pompeo arrives in Czech Republic to discuss security and economic cooperation

The head of the US State Department Mike Pompeo arrived in the Czech Republic. The official’s special board landed at the Vaclav Havel Prague International Airport.

Pompeo will be in the country for two days.

Immediately after the plane landed, he went to Pilsen, where, together with Foreign Minister Tomasz Petřicek, he will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city by the American army. The visit was originally supposed to take place in May.

The head of the US State Department will discuss security and economic cooperation between the two countries with leading Czech officials.
