Hundreds of extremists were brought to Libya from the Syrian province of Idlib, the last stronghold of terrorists in the country.
According to reports, Ankara has hired more than a thousand Tunisian militants. They were transported by Turkish planes from Idlib to Istanbul, and then to Libyan Misurata. The city on the Mediterranean coast is now used by Turkish armed contingents as a transit point.
Tunisian extremists must join the militants of the groups, loyal to the so-called Government of Libya’s national accord. Such actions are associated with the upcoming attack on the city of Sirte and the Jufra airbase in order to drive out the units of the Libyan National Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
As News Front previously reported, in connection with the upcoming operation in Libya, a militarized zone has already been created. Any movement within it is prohibited.
