The French government has prepared a plan for a possible second wave of coronavirus epidemic in France, but if this happens, the regime of self-isolation will not be introduced everywhere, said the Prime Minister, Jean Castex.
“It has always been said, it was supposed to prepare for the second wave of the epidemic”, – said Castes on BFMTV.
Prior to his appointment as prime minister last Friday, Castex was in charge of the country’s exit from self-isolation.
Prime Minister gave an affirmative answer to the question whether a plan for the isolation regime in case of the second wave of the epidemic was already ready. “Yes, but we will not introduce a possible isolation regime in the same way as it was in March. Because firstly, we have learned, and then the isolation regime leads to terrible consequences – human, economic. That’s why we will approach the target,” said Castex.
He also said he intends to visit Guiana (overseas department of France) on Sunday, where the sanitary situation is difficult.
