French nurses have gone out to protest in Paris

The medical workers’ protest action began in Paris. The protesters took to the streets of Paris and several other cities in France to demand higher wages for medical workers, an increase in the plan to recruit staff in medical facilities and an end to the reduction of hospital beds.

A convoy of demonstrators has taken to Rue Zdorovia and is moving along Boulevard Montparnasse. The end point of the route will be Place Pierre Larocque, next to the building of the French Ministry of Health. The rally is peaceful, with many police and gendarmes providing security.
In addition to Paris, the action is held in Rennes, Montpellier, Lyon, Strasbourg, Toulouse and other cities of France.
