Four people arrested in Turkey who spied for France

This was reported by the Sabah newspaper. She called the news “the biggest espionage scandal in recent years.”

The activity of this group was due to one of its members – Metin Ozdemir. He had a fight with the leadership, to whom he transmitted information through the Consulate General in Istanbul.

He was recruited when he served in Afghanistan. For access to information, Ozdemir used a fake MIT certificate from Turkish intelligence, he studied religious public organizations, and profiled members of the Diyanet Religious Affairs Department of Turkey.
