Anti-government protests have resumed in major French cities. This time people went out to fight not for the “rights of blacks,” but to protest the policy of the government of the republic.
Those gathered for mass protests are against Macron’s policy in the context of the Coronavirus Pandemic. It should be noted that the situation in the country is aggravated by mass demonstrations by law enforcement officers. There is a shortage of law enforcement officers at the protests.
It is also important that the French Council of State decided not to apply restrictions because of the coronavirus to demonstrations if “preventive measures” are observed.
