In Paris, police protested against allegations of racism

In Paris, police blocked the Champs-Elysées, holding a demonstration in the capital against allegations of cruelty and racism.

Protesters from other major cities in the country are also involved. All French unions of police workers are represented. The demonstrators used about a dozen service cars to block the main avenue in Paris.

In France, the death of African-American Floyd, who died after being detained by the police on May 25 in the United States, caused a wide resonance.
