At least seven people were killed and five were injured in an attack by militants of the Islamic State terrorist group* in a village in the province of Diyala, eastern Iraq, Baghdadtoday news portal reported citing a security source.
“Militants of the ISIS* attacked the village of Mijas in the vicinity of the city Khanakin, as a result of which seven people, including security forces, were killed and five were injured”, – the source said.
According to the source, the attack occurred on Sunday morning.
