Over 20 refugees returned to Syria from Lebanon over the past day, it follows from the newsletter of the refugee reception, distribution and accommodation center, published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Over the past day, 22 refugees returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from Lebanon through the Jade Yabus and Tell Kahlah checkpoints (including: 7 women, 12 children). From Jordan, through the Nasib checkpoint the withdrawal of refugees was not carried out”, – the bulletin says.
Refugees did not return to places of permanent residence within the country during the day.
It is added that the engineering units of the Syrian Armed Forces cleared 2.1 hectares of territory per day in the towns of Duma (Damascus province), Jasim and El Harra (Deraa province). 28 explosive objects were discovered and destroyed.
