Rouhani and Erdogan discussed the opening of borders between countries for trade

The Presidents of Iran and Turkey, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a telephone conversation discussed the need to soon open air and land borders between countries in compliance with medical requirements for the resumption of trade.

This was reported by the press service of the Iranian leader.

During the conversation, Erdogan, as indicated, promised Rouhani to issue the necessary orders to open the border of Turkey and Iran and resume trade.

The presidents of the two countries also discussed the joint fight against coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Earlier, Russia and Turkey agreed to lift restrictions for road carriers.
