The so-called Libyan National Accord Government may plunge the country into the chaos of a new large-scale war in order to expand its influence.
This was told by the representative of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PNS, Mohammad al-Qiblawi.
According to him, now that the government of Faiz Saraj is receiving support from Turkey, the PNS can take advantage of the situation to expand control throughout the country.
“The government is committed to managing the political process with believers in a democratic civilian state,” the official added.
The Libyan crisis began in 2011. Then, during the armed coup, Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown, which entailed the creation of dual power in the country. So, in Tripoli, with the support of the West, the so-called Government of National Accord was formed, which refused to recognize the Libyan parliament in the city of Tobruk, who nominated General Khalifa Haftar as commander in chief.
