In France, despite the coronavirus, the Yellow Vests protest

 

Since 11 May, strict quarantine measures ceased in France, the opponents of Macron’s policy took to the streets.

Protesters, who work in public hospitals, expressed dissatisfaction with the financing of public hospitals.
French doctors are “deeply disappointed” with the urgent hospital reform plan presented by French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe on 20 November. According to their estimates, hospitals lack 600 million euros in addition to the 200 million euros allocated by the authorities in 2020. Doctors also demand salary increases and revision of the system of financing and hospital management.
Protests by French hospital staff have continued in recent months, despite the coronavirus.
