The head of the Turkish Defense Industry Directorate, Ismail Demir, said that the Turkish side had partially commissioned the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
It is reported by Milliyet.
“The deployment of the S-400 continues. Certain systems have been put into operation”, – it said.
Demir also added that Russia will not have the “desired access” to the S-400 deployed in Turkey, while the Russian side will continue to engage in technical maintenance and equipment support.
In March, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said when Turkey will commission the S-400.
