In France, a car driver ran over police officers

 

Two police officers were hit by a driver in a car on the outskirts of Paris.

The incident took place in the town of Colombe, near the French capital. According to preliminary data, the driver of a BMW car intentionally targeted the police officers.
Two police officers were injured in the accident, causing mechanical damage to the car and motorcycle of the police officers. One of the victims was hospitalised with broken legs and the second policeman was in an artificial coma.
The driver of a BMW was detained and found to be a 29-year-old local resident. The French Interior Ministry’s antiterrorist unit was involved in the investigation.

The police department reported that the incident took place after the driver watched a video about Palestine.
