Less than half of the French citizens trust the information of the media concerning the topic of the new type of coronavirus, according to the data of the poll conducted for the radio station “Europe -1”.
According to the results of the survey, published on Tuesday, 42% of respondents said they were confident in the quality of information on this topic. It is noted that since Sunday, this figure has decreased by 10 percentage points.
Another 55% of respondents do not trust the media information about the situation with the coronavirus. The remaining 3% refrained from answering.
The survey also showed that only 37% approve of the government’s approach to the fight against coronavirus. 61% of respondents do not approve of the actions of the authorities, and 2% could not answer.
About 1,000 people took part in the survey.
According to the latest data, almost 20 thousand cases of infection have been identified in France. About 860 people died.
In France, there is a national quarantine as part of measures to combat the spread of a new type of coronavirus Covid-19. All shops have been closed, except grocery stores and pharmacies. Online commerce and delivery services continue to operate without restrictions. Cafes, restaurants, cinemas are out of operation.
At the same time, the residents still have the opportunity to leave the house. However, each time they will have to fill in a special short form themselves. It can be found on the website of the French Ministry of Interior.
The document should contain the name, surname and address. And also – choose one of the reasons why the authorities allow you to leave the house. Residents are allowed to go shopping for food, medicine and basic necessities. They also have the right to get to medical institutions on their own. It is also possible to go out of the house when there is an urgent need to help relatives, the elderly and children. Another good reason is a trip to work and, accordingly, home from work. Finally, in France, it is allowed to leave the house for a little walk, walk with pets. Sports on the street are also allowed, as long as it is not a collective event.
