US launched air strikes at the warehouses of the Shiite Kataib Hezbollah group in Iraq

The US military launched airstrikes on five warehouses of the Shia group Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq. This was a response to the missile attack, in which two US troops died.

“The US has launched high-precision defensive strikes against Kataib Hezbollah sites throughout Iraq. The goals of these attacks were five weapons depots to significantly weaken their ability to carry out attacks in the future”, – the Pentagon said.

On March 11, a military base in Iraq was attacked. Three soldiers died – two from the United States, one from the UK. In response, the US-led coalition launched a strike against the Al-Hashd al-Shaabi Iraqi militia base in Syria.
