The Ministry of Defense of Turkey announced the date of negotiations with the Russian military

The Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that negotiations with the participation of a military delegation from Russia on the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone will begin in Ankara on March 10.

“In accordance with the Moscow memorandum (on Idlib), negotiations will begin in Ankara on March 10 with the participation of the Russian military delegation”, – TASS quoted the Turkish military as saying.

The military is expected to discuss the details of the joint patrol of the M4 highway in Syria, which is scheduled to begin on March 15.

On March 5, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, following talks between the leaders of the two countries, said that Russia and Turkey agreed to create a security corridor 6 km north and south of the M4 highway in Syria, and also to conduct joint patrols along the highway from March 15.

He noted that the specific parameters of the functioning of the security corridor are coordinated through the ministries of defense of the two countries within seven days.
