Idlib can “explode” with a new round of escalation at any time.
According to reports, the Syrian province was flooded with armored vehicles and artillery pieces of the Turkish Armed Forces. All this is being transferred to the Idlibian de-escalation zone, using the ceasefire. Only over the past day, three columns of Turkish military equipment were thrown across the border. They included armored vehicles, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. In addition, Ankara strengthens the Turkish group in Idlib with personnel.
Dangerous activity is also observed on the territory of the so-called observation posts in Turkey. They have long turned into military bases, from where attacks were launched and shock drones were launched. Now these bases have begun to strengthen. Moreover, a new one is being equipped – 15 kilometers northeast of the city of Idlib.
As News Front reported, after a failed attack in the Syrian province of Idlib, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was forced to go to Moscow to negotiate with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The meeting resulted in the announcement of a ceasefire in Idlib.
Military expert Vladimir Evseev said earlier that the confrontation in the region could resume by the summer.
