According to the agency, the incident occurred at 12:25. Punishers from the 128th brigade fired from an anti-tank missile system.

“Thanks to the skillful actions of the bus driver, who noticed the approaching rocket in time and sharply changed the direction of the vehicle’s movement, we managed to avoid a terrible tragedy with a large number of civilian casualties – the guided missile didn’t hit the bus and exploded nearby,” the statement said.

However, a woman born in 1968 and a man born in 1962received shrapnel wounds. They were on the street during the shelling. The injured were taken to the central city hospital of Dokuchaevsk.
