Ramstein and US indulgence overshadowed Merkel’s sunset career – a large-scale investigation is coming in Germany

German authorities allowed the United States to commit a crime that almost turned into a war.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her government are suspected of conspiring with the US administration to liquidate the commander of the elite Iranian unit of the Al-Quds Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Kassem Suleimani, as well as the leader of the Shiite-sponsored Al-Hashd al-Shabi Iran Abu Mahdi al -Muhandisa.

A corresponding class action lawsuit has already been filed with the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office. The authors of the initiative were the deputies of the Bundestag from the Left Party.

In addition to Merkel, the lawsuit includes the names of German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, Bundeswehr head Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, as well as Minister of the Interior Horst Seehofer.

The essence of the charges

The class action lawsuit against the retiring Merkel and her ministers is based on information that the data on the attacks of American UAVs pass through the stronghold of the US Air Force at the German Ramstein air base. However, the German federal government never bothered to check whether the activities of the US military in Ramstein violate international rights.

The plaintiffs note that the country’s authorities should act as guarantors that there is no violation of international law in the territory of Germany. However, it was through a repeater located at the Ramstein base that the drones that attacked in Iraq were controlled. This is explained by the fact that the United States simply does not have alternative ways of signal transmission.

“Ramstein is at the heart of the global violence policy pursued by the United States”, – MPs say, calling on prosecutors to start proceedings against the German government.

As News Front previously reported, the American armed forces carried out a resonant and highly provocative attack, the victim of which was the commander of the elite Iranian unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Al-Quds Kassem Suleimani. The blow was inflicted by personal order of President Donald Trump, allegedly with the aim of “protecting US personnel abroad”.
