The lawyers’ strike continues to be held in France. Almost all trials are postponed, even the most public. In Saint-Etienne, the hearings are postponed until September. The bar is on unlimited strike and is not about to stop.
Last week, lawyers from all over France sent mass letters requesting access to personal data to the Ministry of Justice. The objective is to clutter up the services while exercising their rights. They await a response for each letter and threaten to seize the CNIL (National Commission for Data Protection) if they do not receive anything within a month.
