On Monday, February 24, the armed forces of the Syrian opposition, with the support of Turkish forces, launched an attack on the positions of the Syrian army in Idlib province, starting a ground operation in the direction of the city of Neyrab.
Earlier, fighters of the Syrian army, with the support of the National Defense Forces, destroyed more than 250 terrorists in the course of repelling the attacks of gangs in the region of Neyrab. Government forces repulsed several attempts by the enemy to seize their positions on the front line of the Neurab – Sarakib. At the same time, dozens of armored vehicles were disabled.
On February 11, gangs already launched a counterattack to regain control of the city of Sarakib, which was liberated by Syrian troops on February 5. However, these attempts were unsuccessful and were repelled by the Syrian army.
