Eight migrants, including four children, were found in a truck in Le Havre

In the city of Le Havre, France, eight Afghan migrants were found last night in a truck, including four children aged 18 months to 12 years. This was reported by the border police.

The vehicle was tested at the port of Le Havre, from where the driver was about to ferry him to Portsmouth in the UK. Eight people were found in the truck by police, including four children. All migrants were hiding behind a specially equipped partition.

Two Afghan families, each with four people, tried to migrate illegally. The police and emergency services detained them until the circumstances were clarified. The driver was arrested.
