Two people were injured in a car bomb explosion in central Damascus on Thursday, Syrian state television station Ikhbariya reports.
According to the channel, a pickup truck with an explosive device planted in it exploded in the center of the Syrian capital on the lively Marge Square.
“Two citizens were injured in an explosion in the center of Damascus”, – the channel reports referring to a source in the Syrian Interior Ministry.
Since the beginning of February, this is the fourth terrorist attack in the Syrian capital: on February 7, a car bomb exploded in the central region of Faham, one person was injured. On February 10, one person was injured in a car explosion in the Mezze region in the west of the city, and on Tuesday a car explosion in the central district of Bab Musall killed one person, two were injured.
Not a single terrorist group has claimed responsibility for these bombings.
