Another passenger plane was dreadfully trapped in the Middle East

The lives of people were beyond the Israeli interests.

Another vile raid by the Israeli Air Force on the Syrian capital could end in another plane crash. So, in the affected area there was a passenger of the Airbus-320 aircraft, on board of which there were 172 people.

This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov.

The incident occurred the day before. Late at night, the Israeli aircraft made an unexpected raid. Four F-16 fighters fired eight air-to-ground missiles in the suburbs of Damascus. Syria was forced to use air defense systems, which could lead to a terrible tragedy.

They managed to escape it only thanks to the prompt actions of the dispatchers of the Damascus airport. The passenger airliner still managed to get out of the air defense systems. The plane was redirected to the nearest safe runway. She was at the Khmeimim airbase, where the Russian Aerospace Forces are stationed.

Konashenkov noted that Israeli strategists planning such operations are increasingly using civil aviation to cover their own combat aircraft or obstruct the operation of air defense systems. He drew attention to the fact that Israel was aware of the air situation in the operation area, as a result, they were aware of the presence of passenger aircraft.

“Unfortunately, the operations of Israeli strategists completely ignore the lives of hundreds of innocent citizens”, – the representative of the Russian defense department said.

As News Front previously reported, Ukraine’s Boeing-737 International Airlines flight crashed shortly after taking off from the Imam Khomeini Airport in the Iranian capital. All 168 passengers and 9 crew members on board were killed. Following an internal investigation into the Iranian Air Force, Tehran admitted that the cause of the disaster was a missile strike. According to the Iranian General Staff, the airliner flew too close to a sensitive military facility, and the human factor played a decisive role.
