Hamas calls terror attack in Jerusalem a response to Trump’s deal of the century

Ham car hitting an Israeli military in Hamas was called a “resistance operation”.

The car’s collision with a group of Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem was a response to the so-called “deal of the century” by the US President Donald Trump for the Middle East. This was stated by a representative of the Hamas Palestinian group, Hazem Kassem, Interfax reported on Thursday, February 6.

“Resistance all over the West Bank: clashes involving our people from the very south of the West Bank to the north, and the resistance operation carried out in the heart of occupied Jerusalem, is a response in practice from our people to Trump’s announcement of a liquidation deal (Palestine – Ed.)”, – Kassem said.

Earlier on Thursday it was reported that a car drove into a crowd of people in Jerusalem. 15 people were injured. Later it became known that the recruits were injured, who walked around Jerusalem after taking the oath. One is in serious condition.

On January 28, Trump introduced the draft of “the deal of the century.” He was supported by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. At the same time, Palestine rejected the offer of the United States.

And on February 1, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas announced the severance of all ties with Israel and the United States, including security cooperation.
