In the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Idlib and Hama, three humanitarian corridors are organized for civilians to exit.
This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the Russian center for reconciliation in Syria, Yuri Borenkov.
He noted that in connection with the unleashing of hostilities by the terrorist group “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham”*, a threat to the safety of civilians arose.
“In order to prevent the death of civilians, the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties, together with the Syrian government forces and local authorities, organized the functioning of three humanitarian corridors in the areas of the settlements of El Hader in Aleppo province, Abu al-Duhur province of Idlib province and Habit province of Hama province,” – said Borenkov.
He also said that checkpoints will work around the clock. Earlier it was reported that as a result of shelling of Syrian Aleppo, eight people died per day, another 22 were injured.
*Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (“Jabhat Fath al-Sham”, “Front al-Nusra”, “Jabhat al-Nusra”) – the organization was recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2014.
