France will become a country that will “root” Russia in Europe. This is a strategic choice that Paris is already actively working on.
This statement was made by Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy and Finance of France, who arrived in Moscow on a visit.
According to him, the situation is complicated by another U.S. anti-Russian sanctions, which block European and, in particular, French companies from investing in Russian projects. Nevertheless, the politician stressed, in six months Paris will have a mechanism that will level the effect of American pressure within the framework of international law. In this regard, Le Mayor promised to return to the Russian Federation after 6 months with specific developments. The minister did not disclose the details of the system under development.

As News Front reported earlier, the French company “Vinci” invested 113 million Euros in the construction of a new toll highway M11 between Moscow and St. Petersburg. At the same time, the company’s management assured that they are ready to work on other projects on reconstruction of Russia’s highway system.
