A major strike against pension reform, in which various categories of French people, including transport workers, took part, began on December 5. Since last Thursday, there have been large disruptions in the movement of public transport: most of the subway lines in Paris have been closed, the number of suburban Parisian trains RER, buses and trams has been reduced. Train traffic has been significantly disrupted throughout France. The reason for the French dissatisfaction was the announced by the government pension reform, which may deprive some categories of workers of a number of privileges.
