Protests in Paris are gaining momentum

Yesterday, a general strike began in France.

It was attended by from 800 thousand (according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs) to 1.5 million (according to the organizers) people. Even more people agree with its cause – dissatisfaction with the upcoming pension reform. Although its content is still unknown, many do not like the idea itself: abolish 42 pension regimes operating in France and introduce one universal one based on points earned during working life.
