The attack was staged by militants of the Syrian wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, according to the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
In northern Syria, in the vicinity of the city of Tell Abyad, a car bomb exploded. At least 10 people were killed, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the oppositional Free Syrian Army (SSA) on Saturday, November 23.
“Ten people were killed and more than 25 were injured in a car bomb explosion in the city of Tell Abyad in northern Syria”, – the source said.
According to it, the number of victims of the explosion may increase.
Note that the city of Tell Abyad is now under the control of Turkey. The Ministry of Defense of this country claims that the terrorist attack was carried out by militants of the Syrian wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
Recall, on October 9, the Turkish army launched Source of Peace operation in Syria against the Syrian Kurdish Self-Defense Forces (YPG), which Ankara considers an ally of the Kurdistan Workers Party banned in Turkey.
