Silence locally enters into force in northeastern Syria

The cessation of hostilities agreement entered into force in the northern Syrian province of Hasaka.
Thus, units of the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as pro-Turkish gangs, will be allocated 3 kilometers from the settlement of Tel Tamr to the border of the Ras al-Ain district.

In turn, the militants of the Kurdish armed group “Syrian Democratic Forces” will have to leave this settlement, as well as 10 settlements in its vicinity, within two days. The Kurds, within the framework of the agreements, need to withdraw their units to the area of the settlement of Al-Saud.

At the same time, the Hasaka-Aleppo highway, which is of strategic importance, will be patrolled by groups consisting of members of the Syrian Arab army and the Russian military police.
