In the morning, air raid sirens sounded several times in the cities of Tel Aviv, Ashdod and Ashkelon.
At least 50 rockets were fired by Palestinians from the Gaza Strip over Israeli territory. This was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces on Twitter on Tuesday, November 12.
“About 50 missiles were launched from the Gaza Strip in Israel at 09:10 this morning. The air defense system of the Iron Dome intercepted about 20 of them”, – the report said.
On Tuesday morning, air raid sirens were triggered several times in Tel Aviv, its satellite cities Rishon Lezion, Bat Yam and Holon, as well as the major cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon in southern Israel and parts of the country adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
According to Israeli state radio Kan, one of the many rockets launched from Gaza hit Tuesday in a residential building in the south of the country. Information about the victims was not received, the building was damaged.

Earlier it became known that on the night of November 12, Israel attacked the commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group in the Gaza Strip, Baha Abu al-Ata. He was eliminated. Also a woman who was with him in the same house was killed.
