Russia calls for the creation of a zone without weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East, calls on representatives of all interested parties to participate in the upcoming conference on this topic in New York on November 18-22, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said at a non-proliferation conference in Moscow.
“We consider it extremely important to make real progress in creating a zone in the Middle East free of nuclear and other types of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery vehicles”, – Ryabkov said.
“In this regard, I will take advantage of today’s opportunity to invite representatives of all interested parties to participate in the upcoming conference on this topic in New York on November 18-22”, – he added.
