More than 200 people came back from Lebanon to Syria in a day, almost 730 more arrived from Jordan, follows from the newsletter of the reception, distribution and accommodation center, published on Facebook on Monday.
“Over the past day, 941 refugees came back to the Syrian Arab Republic from the territories of foreign states, including 213 people from Lebanon through the Jaydet-Yabus and Tell-Kalah checkpoints (64 women, 108 children), from Jordan through the Nasib checkpoint – 728 people (218 women, 371 children)”, – the statement said.
It is added that three refugees came back to their places of permanent residence during the day.
Over the past day, the Russian side held two humanitarian actions, during which thousands of food packages with a total weight of 4.9 tons were given to needy residents of the SAR: 500 food packages with a total weight of 2.45 tons were issued in Ain Aisha (Al-Quneitra Province), in Shamiyat el Muhailiba (Latakia province) issued 500 food sets with a total weight of 2.45 tons.
The engineering units of the Syrian Armed Forces per day performed the tasks of clearing the terrain and facilities in El Harrah and Jasim (province of Deraa) and the Duma (province of Damascus). Specialists cleared 2.8 hectares of territory, discovered and destroyed 39 explosive objects.
