The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects the meeting of the “Norman Four” to be held in November

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Priestayko expressed hope that the meeting of the leaders of the Norman format will be held in November. He said this to reporters on the sidelines of the investment forum in Mariupol.

“I think that Ukraine will achieve the meeting to be held in the format in which we want. I hope that this will happen next month”, – the UNN quoted Foreign Minister as saying.

According to him, Kiev, for its part, is doing everything for the summit to take place.

Speaking about the main technical problems on which no negotiations have been held so far, Priestayko noted two points – the Steinmeier formula and the withdrawal of troops in the Donbass.

Earlier, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky also said he was looking forward to the meeting of the “Norman Four” in the nearest future.

The Kremlin emphasized that they did not see any changes on this issue in Kiev.

As the Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov pointed out, on the Ukrainian side, agreements on troop withdrawal in Zolotoy and Petrovsky districts are not being implemented, and there is also a contradictory attitude to the Steinmeier formula.
