Over a thousand refugees return to Syria in 24 hours

Over one thousand refugees returned to Syria over the past day from Lebanon and Jordan, according to the newsletter of the Russian center for the reconciliation of warring parties and monitoring the movement of refugees, published on Monday on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

“Over the past 24 hours, 1,016 refugees returned to Syria from foreign countries, including 295 people (88 women, 150 children) from Jordan through the Jaydet-Yabus, Tell-Kalah checkpoints, and from Jordan via “Nasib” checkpoint – 721 people (216 women, 368 children),” the document says.
