The Russian Federation intends to work with the United Arab Emirates to facilitate the visa regime, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the Russian-Emirate talks in Abu Dhabi.
“The mutual cancellation of visa requirements is also called upon to help expand contacts between citizens of the two countries. This intergovernmental agreement was signed at your initiative and entered into force in February this year. We will continue to move in this direction”, – Putin said.
In February 2019, a visa-free regime between Russia and the UAE entered into force.
