Footage filmed in Gaza on Sunday, shows what appears to be a number of rockets being launched from the coastal enclave, as the Israeli-Gazan standoff continues to escalate.
Gaza’s skyline was lit up by rockets that appear to be launched from positions within the city and apparently directed towards Israel.
Thick pillars of smoke were also seen rising from targets inside the Strip following Israeli airstrikes.
Israeli forces have been conducting raids on alleged Hamas targets in Gaza, claiming them to be a response to hundreds of rockets fired on Israel from the enclave.
At least eight Palestinians and three Israelis have reportedly been killed in the attacks conducted by both sides during the weekend.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue “massive attacks against terrorist elements in the Gaza Strip.”
