Yellow Vest protesters faced off with police in central Paris on Saturday as the movement hit the streets for the 20th week in a row.
Tear gas billowed near the Eiffel Tower, as protesters rained projectiles down on police. One man was seen in the process of being detained.
The demonstrations are being held against French President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies as the second phase of the “Grand National Debate” is expected to continue in the next few days.
