Dozens of Palestinians sustained injuries along the Israeli border in the Gaza Strip on Friday, as the ‘Great March of Return’ protests resumed.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 14 Palestinian protesters were injured by live ammunition and and at least 60 sustained suffocation from teargas inhalation.
The Great March of Return, launched in late March, form a series of protests along the Israeli-Palestinian border to demand the right for Palestinians to return to their families’ pre-1948 homes.
