Hungary once again blocked the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO special commission due to the language legislation of the Ukrainian side. Recall that the Hungarian government is blocking the meeting of the commission at the ministerial level not for the first time.
The tension between Hungary and Ukraine arose because of the regular trick of the Kiev regime. Ukraine adopted a new law on education, which significantly reduces the possibility of training members of national minorities in their native language.
On why Hungary does not calm down, despite the pressure from Western “partners”, on the notes of the protests of Ukraine, in a special interview with the news agency “News Front” told Hungarian journalist, head of foreign policy of the newspaper “Magyar Nemzet” Gabor Styr.
“In my opinion today it became clear that Hungary will not back down, because the Ukrainian side does not want to meet the Hungarian government on the language issue, but, on the contrary, only strengthens aggressive rhetoric. Hungary feels only aggressiveness from Ukraine. The Hungarian government has no choice but to block this meeting until the Ukrainian side changes the so-called law on education, the Hungarian journalist said.
Answering the question why Ukraine rests and does not want to decide the issue, the journalist replied: “Everything that happens today in Ukraine is ridiculous. Ukraine today has found a new enemy, in the person of the small people of Transcarpathia. About 130,000 Hungarians live in Transcarpathia today. Why does this people prevent Ukraine? The answer is obvious. The Kiev regime set out to find the next enemy after Russia, and found the Hungarians. “
It should be noted that Ukraine’s aggressive rhetoric will not lead to anything good, because the population of Transcarpathia can hold a referendum and secede from Ukraine and not only Hungarians, but also other national minorities will support the Hungarian diaspora.
Summing up, Gabor Stir stated that the desire to “punish Russia” turned out to be a punishment for all peoples living in Ukraine.
“Ukraine wanted to punish Russia, but punished all other nations. Kiev makes an enemy out of a small diaspora, despite the fact that Hungarian ethnic minority has never been hostile to Kiev. In this issue, one can see the logic of the war, because if a country finds an enemy, then the government is less affected by social problems,” the Hungarian journalist summed up.
