The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) conducted a raid on the house of 17-year-old Mohammed Yousef, who stabbed an Israeli settler to death and wounded two others a couple of days ago, on Saturday morning in the West Bank village of Kobar.
Yousef stabbed 31-year old Yotam Ovadia and injured two more, before he was shot dead in the Adam settlement on Thursday.
The soldiers entered Kobar with the intention of conducting house searches and detaining suspects. On the approach road leading up to the village, they fired tear gas and rubber bullets at Palestinian stone throwers.
The IDF has been carrying out raids ahead of the anticipated demolishing of the assailant’s family home.
