Israel strike reportedly kills 2 Palestinians

The statement comes after the Israeli air force struck on Friday four locations in the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian territory controlled by Hamas.

An Israeli airstrike has reportedly killed two Palestinians, a Gaza Strip official said Saturday.

According to the latest data provided by the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 25 people has been injured as a result of the airstrike. At the same time, The Jerusalem Post newspaper reported Friday that six children were among the injured.

Skirmishes between the Israelis and Palestinians escalated Friday on the Gaza Strip after Israeli Air Force warplanes targeted militants in response to rocket attacks. Just days earlier, US President Donald Trump made a highly controversial announcement to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel.
