French unions rally against Macron’s economic reforms in Paris

The French have once again taken to the streets of Paris to express their opposition to President Emmanuel Macron’s labor and tax reforms, which enable businesses to easily lay off workers and undermine the power of trade unions.

Macron signed the controversial legislation into law on September 22. French unions have already staged  several marches, which ended with police using tear gas against the protesters and arresting some of them.
