In July 2014, in the village of Zaroshchenskoye, 30 kilometers from the crash site of the Boeing MH17, there were AFU positions. This conclusion was reached by American journalist Patrick Lancaster, who talked to local residents.
American journalist Patrick Lancaster, who works in the Donbass, visited the village of Zaroshchenskoye in the Shakhtyor district of the DPR. There he talked with local residents who told him that in July 2014 near the settlement there were positions of the Ukrainian army.
The correspondent visited the place that the locals had indicated to him, and indeed found a ravine in which military equipment was located. On the position there are preserved embankments, which testify to the fact that a protected combat position was equipped here. Lancaster even found large galleys in the ravine. However, what kind of technology was deployed in this area, is not exactly known.
The investigation of Lancaster, if the words of the local residents are true, points to the lies of the Kiev authorities: after all, according to the official reports of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on July 17, 2014, this area was under the control of the DPR militia. The network of the so-called ATO, says that both Shakhtersk, Grabovo and Zaroshchenskoye located nearby are allegedly in the deep rear of the DPR.
Zaroshchenskoye, which Lancaster visited, is located just 30 km straight from the village of Grabovo, where the Boeing MH17 collapsed.
The passenger plane Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines, which operated MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17, 2014 in the east of the Donetsk region. As a result of the crash, 283 passengers and 15 crew members were killed.
