France strongly supports the “smoothing” of the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean. The government wants to create “hotspots” for refugees in Libya this summer. This is reported by the German edition of Zuerst.
At the same time, France is ready to work on this both jointly with the EU and on its own, French president Emmanuel Macron explained on Thursday.
“I want to start this summer,” Macron said.
Such registration places for refugees are already in the border areas of the EU, such countries as Greece and Italy. From Libya through the Mediterranean Sea, many African refugees are trying to enter Europe, this year their number has already reached 100,000 so far.
