Muslims pelted policemen with stones and Molotov cocktails at the Lion Gate near the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Two policemen received minor injuries.
The orderly officers used tear gas and other special means against the crowd to disperse the illegal rally.
At the same time, about 70 participants in the riots received injuries.
