The low turnout demonstrated by French voters in the first round of the parliamentary elections on Sunday casts doubt on the legitimacy of the future parliament, said the head of the “Get Up, France” Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, who claimed to be the head of state.
“Absence, which this evening showed, casts great doubt on the legitimacy of the future parliament,” the politician wrote in his verified account in the Twitter microblogging network.
